WHAT'S THE DEAL???

A way to purchase bulk beef, receive the same quantity of meat that you do when ordering a quarter or half beef straight from the butcher shop, BUT you will know right up front how many of each cut and how many pounds of hamburger and stew meat you will receive.

The custom order will be comprised of cuts from my current inventory, therefore the following packaging specifications will apply.

• Steaks will be individually packaged and cut 1-inch thick
• Roasts are 2-3 pounds each
• Ground beef is in 1 pound bulk packages
• Ground beef patties are 3 or 4 to a package
• Stew Meat is in 1 pound packages

WITH THIS OPTION YOU ARE PURCHASING A WHOLE, HALF or QUARTER CARCASS and YOU WILL FILL OUT A CUTTING INSTRUCTION SHEET INDICATING EXACTLY HOW YOU WOULD LIKE IT CUT. 

EXAMPLES; WHICH STEAKS, THICKNESS OF STEAKS, WEIGHT OF ROASTS, BULK GROUND BEEF, PATTIES, ETC. 

THE AMOUNT OF MEAT THAT GOES INTO YOUR FREEZER WILL DEPEND ON HOW YOU CHOOSE TO HAVE IT CUT.

Very happy to announce that we will still be providing chicken at the markets thanks to AUTUMN'S HARVEST FARM! in Romulus, NY.  We will be purchasing the chickens from them and having them available to you for the rest of the winter until we can again start raising some more of our own.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

WHOLE and HALF CHICKENS (WEIGHTS WILL VARY) The chickens have been fed only non-medicated feeds and been provided fresh pasture access every day from 3 to 4 weeks. 

BEDIENT FARMS HALF AND WHOLE HOG INFORMATION SHEET

Approximate Average Price at $2.75/lb. Hanging Weight

Includes Killing, Cutting, Packaging and Smoking of any cuts:

WHOLE HOG $480.00     

HALF HOG $240.00

The following is an approximate breakdown of cutting options for a WHOLE HOG.  When ordering a half hog just assume approximately half as much meat.  The exact number of chops and steaks will depend on the thickness that you have them cut.  The bacon and sausage can be packaged in any quantity you desire (ex. 1 lb. per package).  Please note that any and all cuts may be smoked.

2 Hams approximately 8 pounds each (can be whole or sliced)

9 pounds Bacon (you choose slicing thickness and amount per package)

2 Tenderloins  (whole or sliced)

5 pounds Ribs

15 pounds for sausage or ground pork (can choose some of each breakfast sausage, sweet, hot, or plain)

35 Pork Chops (when cut 1-inch thick) (you choose thickness and how many per package)

20 Pork Steaks (when cut 1-inch thick) (you choose thickness and how many per package)

A whole hog is approximately 75-80 pounds of meat.
